Molly Blake began her 20-year journalism career at a small tv station in the south in 1996. When the military reporter suddenly quit, Blake filled in for him and interviewed a young Captain in the USMC. With that serendipitous interview, she began her parallel career as a military spouse. Blake maintained a busy writing career, all while moving between Kansas, Virginia, Florida, and Arizona with the USMC. She’s written for The New York Times, The Atlantic, American Way Magazine, NBC news, and many other outlets. She’s currently the content marketing manager for a software company in Denver, where she and her husband, now retired, and two daughters live.
